Scanfil Bio-Baumwollgarn ist mein absolutes Lieblingsgarn zum Nähen von Baumwoll- und Leinenstoffen. Gesponnen aus extra langstapeliger Bio-Pima-Baumwolle, ist das Garn glatt und stark mit einem angenehmen Griff und einer großen Farbtiefe; wunderbar für Hand- und Maschinennähen. Die Stärke 50/2 ist ein dünneres/leichteres Garn, und obwohl ich es erfolgreich zum Nähen von Hosen verwendet habe, eignet es sich vielleicht besser für zarte Hemden und Blusen oder zum Versäubern von Stoffkanten, um ein Ausfransen zu verhindern. Ein zusätzlicher Bonus ist, dass das Garn auf schönen Holzspulen aufgewickelt ist. 500 Yards (457 Meter) pro Spule.

Scanfil organic cotton thread is my absolute favorite thread for sewing cotton and linen fabrics. Spun from extra long staple organic Pima cotton, the thread is smooth and strong with a pleasing hand and depth of color; wonderful for both hand and machine sewing, .  The 50/2 weight is a thinner/lighter weight thread,  and while I have successfully used it to sew trousers, it is perhaps better used for delicate shirts and blouses or zig-zagging the edges of fabrics to prevent unraveling.  As an added bonus, the thread is wound onto beautiful wooden spools. 500 yards (457 meters) per spool.
